Painful feelings.

When painful feelings arise, acknowledge them differently.
Identifying is incorrect and harmful.

"I am angry" vs. "Angry feelings are arising in my mind"

No need to associate nor identify, they arise and they go. That is all. Notice it and call it out.

"When painful feelings arise in our mind, no need to panic; patiently accept them, experience them and investigate their nature and where they come from."

-Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from How to Solve Our Human Problems

We are just one person among countless beings.. how significant can this unpleasant experience be?
